HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY RECOMMENDATIONS?

Expect to receive your personalized book recommendations within two weeks of signing up, and then on that date each cycle. We want to make sure we have time to research the book recommendations thoroughly so that you are matched with the best reads possible!

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE ALREADY READ A RECOMMENDED BOOK?

Unfortunately, it is impossible to know all the books you have read, therefore recommendations are non-refundable. If you received a book recommendation you've already read, you could take the opportunity to check out other books by that author!

We also recommend that you connect a Goodreads (or similar reading profile) to your Reader's Assessment to help us limit this happening.

WHERE DO THE EBOOKS COME FROM?

We currently buy eBooks from Amazon and send them directly to your email. We hope to figure out a way to connect with local book stores in the future.

WHY DO I NEED TO FILL OUT THE READER'S ASSESSMENT?

The assessment helps us get to know you and understand what books you might enjoy. Without it we would just be guessing.

DO I NEED AN AMAZON ACCOUNT?

Yes, because we purchase books through Amazon, you will need an Amazon account and a device that works with Amazon Kindle books. Keep in mind that you can just set up a free Amazon account, no need to get Prime membership.

WHAT IF I WANT TO PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE BOOK EACH MONTH?

We are so glad you like more than one of the book recommendations! At this time we are only delivering one book each cycle, you are welcome to purchase additional titles on Amazon or wherever eBooks are sold. You could also ask that we send you one of the other books in the next cycle, instead of sending you a new round of recommendations.

DO I NEED A KINDLE DEVICE TO ACCESS MY EBOOK?

As long as you have a smart device that can download the Kindle App, you should be able to access your eBook. You can also read the eBook online through your computer browser.

CAN I GIVE SHELF/E AS A GIFT?

Yes! You can give gifts of all the different subscription plans as well as a one time gift of each of the plans. Go to our Give as a Gift page for more information.

DO YOU SELL HARD COPIES?

Right now we just send eBooks, but who knows what the future has in store!
